I have witnessed dawn at night, driving through Buffalo. Massive fire line moving southeast. Much loss for friends of ours.

Don’t you wish the elections only happened once or twice a year and not when only a few people know they are happening so they can foist their will on the rest of us? And just to make matters more confusing – some areas have an election and some do not. So do your own research and be sure (see link below and at the end of the article)
Here’s a list by county so you can see if you have an election in your area >>>

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in God’s likeness. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. James 3:9-12
Isn’t it interesting how good and evil can come forth from the same mouth? One minute we are praising God and the next we are cursing or tearing down our fellow man. Out of the same mouth that praises God comes insults, cursing, slander, gossip, etc., etc. The Bible tells us that this should not be. It also tells us that the tongue is very difficult to tame and control. I believe, though, that with God’s help, it can be tamed and controlled.

It would seem to be a no brainer, that your representatives assigned to various committees would actually consider the bills brought before them. However, ask any activist involved for more than one cycle if you want to hear the war stories!
The House officially convenes on Monday, February 6, and their first order of business will be to adopt the rules which will govern how they operate for the session. On that day, a representative will propose the adoption of the “Open Government Rule,” which states, “A bill shall be heard and receive a vote in committee if the primary author requests it in writing; and a bill, having passed committee, shall be heard and receive a vote on the House floor if the primary author requests it in writing.”
A good start on Day 1“Also in the cross-hairs are pseudo-“free trade” regimes such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). ObamaCare is also on the chopping block. And the border will be brought back under control, the White House said. How much of Obama’s largely unconstitutional “legacy” will be undone, and how quickly, remains to be seen.”
