Constitution Day Event with Sheldon Richman on Sep 17th at Oklahoma Memorial Student Union

YAL Constitution Day EventThe writing and ratification of the U.S. Constitution is broadly construed as an advance for individual liberty and limited self-government. But the historical context perhaps tells a different story — a story of counterrevolution.”

At 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday September 17th (Constitution Day), in the Heritage Room of the Oklahoma Memorial Union, Sheldon Richman of the Future of Freedom Foundation will be doing a presentation on the move from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution, favoring the anti-ratification perspective often ignored in contemporary discussions.
