Thousands of Oklahomans are expected to attend the 8th Annual Reclaiming America for Christ Conference as concerned citizens rally to reclaim America’s founding principles.

Reclaiming America for Christ runs from 6:30-10 p.m. July 25 and continues from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. July 26 (edited) at First Baptist Church of Moore at 301 NE 27th Street in Moore.

“Faith is not some emotional feeling. Christianity is a factual faith,” said Reclaiming America for Christ Director Paul Blair. “The disciples were convinced of the facts of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was not blind faith, it was life changing because their faith was based on tangible evidence.” Most Christians today don’t really know why they believe what they claim to believe. If we really believed what we claimed we believe, then shouldn’t it be evident in the way we live our lives?”

This year’s conference will focus on Christian apologetics and defense of a Biblical worldview.

Speakers include:

Del Tackett, host of Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project
Frank Turek, author of I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist
American historian Brion McClanahan
Local pastor and State Representative Dan Fisher
Pastor Dr. Kevin Clarkson of First Baptist Church of Moore
Pastor Paul Blair of Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond
Topics will include:

The importance of maintaining a Biblical worldview
Preparing Christian students to face atheistic college professors
Biblical principles of American civil government
The case against homosexual marriage
The design and purpose of Federalism in America.
