FGST: Snowflakes – Each One Unique

This year I made snowflakes, I usually do a crafting project for the holidays.  I know they look like tree ornaments, but they are not or they could be.  They are anything you want them to be. As children we learned that each snowflake is unique.  Well as I was making these, I got […]

As we celebrate the Savior’s birthday (whether we got the date right or wrong) – remember that you are special and unique.  He came to earth to be born so that He could rescue you.  What love divine!

Blessings,

Amid fallen trees and debris, chainsaw ministry carves out hope and faith with each cut

ROCKY POINT, NC (WECT) – Their mission is twofold: to share faith, and clear limbs.
A disaster relief team from Oklahoma is helping residents whose homes are threatened by trees or those that are looking a bit precarious. Before a single cut is made though, it’s hats off and hand-in-hand for prayer.

FGST/Humor: Rodent Removal Day (Study — there will be a test)

Some things we learned in bible study.  In this crazy political season, I decided a little bible study might be appropriate so here is a short review:

Remember what Jesus said: ‘Goats on the left, sheep on the right’ (Matthew 25:33).

Jesus also told Peter that if he wanted to catch fish do it from the right side of the boat. They did and filled the boat with fish.

John 21:6 (NIV) … He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.”  When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. ”

Origin of Left & Right…I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the “right” and Liberals are called the “left.”  By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:

Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV) – “The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”

EndTimes Prophecy – A Fresh Look with Michael Basham and Benjamin Baruch

Benjamin Baruch is the speaker’s website.  In this interview he talks about how often prophecy has a two times occurrence and gives examples.  He also talks about the USA in bible prophecy and how quickly the nation will fall.  Possibly the most interesting thing though is about a word Jesus spoke to him about His 7 year ministry of which we have only seen 3 1/2 years so far.  This one was off the charts in resonating with me; both in giving me new things to think about and in some areas reaffirming things we are currently experiencing making clear their meanings and their place in bible prophecy.
