Election Integrity/Reform Series: Part I – The Background

This article is intended to be Part I of a three part series including: the background, the problems with the election board, and recommendations for amending Title 26.

In the state of Oklahoma, Wendi Montgomery Dial and a few others have laid a lot of background for cleaning up our elections to prevent the glaring problems that we have seen in the past. And even if there were no problems, this is an area that requires constant vigilance and appropriate and ongoing civic involvement to keep problems to a minimum. This is imperative for a free society!

Many have been working on these items around the country. As you may have seen there were many resolutions on these topics presented at precinct, county and state conventions. Public awareness is growing, but the big items are still pending (more on that in Part 3 of this series).
