Something Big is Happening in The Oklahoma House of Representatives
For the first time in years, we can definitively capture the clear evidence of the first green shoots—early signs of what may grow into a full transformation of the House of Representatives. It’s a transformation that could restore it to its rightful place as the people’s chamber, rather than the complete tool of powerful government institutions and special interests.

SB 743 An Attack on Free Speech and God’s Word
Last week SB 743 by Senator Gollihare which began as a anti prostitution bill changed rapidly by a floor amendment by Gollihare to prohibit free speech in the guise of prohibiting “protesting” a church with a first offense misdemeanor charge and a second offense felony charge with a $1000 fine and up to 2 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary. Sadly many Grassroot Freedom Caucus Senators crossed the isle to join in on this egregious attack against freedom of speech.
As it turns out, the “protest” amendment was a retaliatory measure by Senator Gollihare to get even with Christian abortion abolitionists who showed up on the side walk of his Blue Bell Freewill Baptist Church in Sapulpa.

Lincoln County Wind Farm Opponent Provides Project Insight – Landowners oppose the project!
Lincoln County landowners who formed the anti-wind farm group “Wind Warriors in Lincoln County” say very few landowners support the controversial Apex Energy wind farm proposed in their county.
They also say of the handful of landowners who signed leases, none actually live in Lincoln County. The group released a press release on Wednesday entitled “Encouraging Progress in 1st Year of Green Energy Battle.”
At this week’s Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting, it was noted that the residents of the county began taking up arms in March 2024 to eventually become the leaders of the war against wind energy which has engulfed 14 counties in the eastern part of the state also being targeted for massive Industrial Wind Turbine Complexes.
A signincant item pointed to on the timeline events over the past year was a “Public Notice on Wind Energy” approved by the Board of Commissioners in August and then mailed to rural landowners. Its intent was to inform them of the planned installation of 82 wind turbines over 600 feet tall and to encourage them to talk with their neighbors before signing a wind lease.

Our keynote speaker was Ryan Walters and he had his lovely young daughter with him on the podium and held her hand as he spoke on matters he is currently addressing like keeping the bible, the constitution, and the declaration of independence in our classrooms. He took time to answer as many questions as people had most graciously and visited with people as he left for another engagement.

Passing this bill will limit K-12 Health Education to nutrition and physical exercise and activities and prevent such woke programs as comprehensive sexual education, gender theory, and social emotional learning (SEL). It is an important limitation to have on the books!

Recently Representative Tom Gann came to do a special presentation for us on this topic. He is a wealth of information, as he had conducted an interim study at the capitol entitled:

White Paper on Rule Change 16e Regarding YRs and CRs
In Oklahoma, we are working to bring transparency and integrity back to the Republican Party. We have made great strides in that effort over the last several years.
This year, we are targeting unfair delegate votes at convention. The counties get a certain number of delegate votes based on votes for the Republican candidate in Presidential or Gubernatorial most recent election. The rules give a set amount of delegate votes to the Young Republicans and College Republicans. The set amount is more than many counties.
We are changing that. Here is my why as I’ve been asked to make a statement:
There are several organizations in Oklahoma that support the Republican Party. One group should not feel entitled to privileged treatment. No organization should get their own delegate votes at a state convention. Why would we pick only a certain group that gets preferred treatment?
