Washington County GOP works to clean up County Corruption
The deep back story is that until this year, with our newly elected GOP County Chairman Larry Murray and our grassroots control of the county committee, Washington County has never to my knowledge held a meeting of the County Committee. They met as a blended body of Executive Committee and County Committee in a very top down oriented fashion. Certainly not in line with OKGOP Rule 6(b)1 which states, “The County Committee of each county is the supreme Republican Party authority of the county, subject to these rules and the direction and control of County Conventions. It is charged with the duty of promoting the welfare and directing and controlling the affairs of the Republican Party in its county.” … to read more click on the article headline on OKGrassroots.com

Does anyone care that we’re holding political prisoners in a DC jail?
The New York Times, Sunday, June 25, published an anti-MAGA propaganda screed called “Far Right Pushes a ‘Through-the-Looking-Glass’ Narrative” by Robert Draper. As his slant projects a “Through the Looking Glass” slur on political victims of the current administration, only Draper’s opening paragraphs are worth noting. Draper does point out that Reps. Gaetz, Gosar, Norman, […]
Corporate America Doesn’t Hear Anybody
“We hear you,” says Anheuser Busch. But do they? The evidence says otherwise. Obviously the Democrats don’t hear the people. They don’t recognize that, in general, the people are smarter than Chuck Schumer looks. They are complaining that Biden is not getting enough credit for bringing down inflation, inflation that he created. Oh, and while […]
State Auditor Byrd after finding $30M in questionable spending: “State of Oklahoma dropped the ball on compliance and oversight”
Ouch. This audit is pretty bad. State Auditor Cindy Byrd has released an audit of federally-funded grants (mainly COVID relief/stimulus money), finding about $30,000,000 in “questioned costs”. This audit is federally-mandated, and could end up with the State of Oklahoma having to repay the misspent funds.
It pretty much comes down to an atmosphere of lackadaisical oversight, careless implementation, and seemingly outright intentions to flout spending rules. A proto-school choice program pushed by Gov. Stitt and then-Secretary of Education (now State Superintendent) Ryan Walters draws specific attention in the scathing report.
Here are some additional news articles to read on the audit:

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (June 27, 2023) Oklahoma State Auditor & Inspector (SAI) Cindy Byrd released today the Federal Single Audit of expenditures made during SFY 2021 which includes pandemic funds. This annual audit is a federally-mandated examination of how the State of Oklahoma spends federal grant money and whether the State complied with federal regulations.
Tucker Carlson Dares To Ask “Why Exactly Are We At War With Russia?”
“Why exactly are we at war with Russia?” Those are the verboten words that Tucker Carlson to utter at the start of Episode 7 Of his Tucker on Twitter series where he highlights the irony that the so-called ‘war for democracy’ is actually enabling dictatorship and tyranny. With nuclear extinction a possibility and 1000s of […]

Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss was an inside job
I RS whistleblowe Gary Shapley made an allegation that members of Trump’s Department of Justice helped to tip the 2020 election to his opponent by slow-walking the investigation into Hunter Biden. Score half a point for Donald Trump. It turns out he was on to something with his claim the 2020 election was rigged, though […]

Uncovering Election Anomalies at Our Republican County Convention
As they finished tallying all the precincts, my spreadsheet clearly showed that our candidate had won! Then the announcement from the stage – they said he had lost by 10 allocated votes. The chairman candidate that I was supporting stood and challenged the vote, asking to check the numbers. The convention chair said, “I’ve already declared it.” At that point, I stood. “You promised me, standing right there, that you would let me see the numbers.” …to read more click on article header

A computer analysis shows where Republican politicians’ real loyalties lie
By Andrea Widburg A point I often make is that Donald Trump’s travails were not because of Democrats. Instead, they were because of Republicans. Had the Republicans supported him, the past seven years would have been very different. And if you doubt that Republicans are a problem, just check out how the Republicans in North […]
