What Chairman Bennett Lost At Today’s OKGOP State Committee
Most initial State Committee meetings are still held in a ‘honeymoon’ atmosphere. Today’s was different.John Bennett signaled some radical changes in his agenda and he was very open about his resolve. But the unfinished business of the April state convention will remain undone. Most controversial of all the agenda items is the open rebuke resolution of US Senator James Lankford. It was defeated by a 16% margin, and it would have b […]

Lawmakers Beg Stitt To Dictate On Healthcare Employee Rights
Today, a group of Oklahoma lawmakers wrote an open letter to Gov. Kevin Stitt; asking him to sign an edict to all Oklahoma employers, forbidding them to mandate certain vaccines for all employees. At last count, 20 lawmakers signed the letter. It seeks to block a Sept. 30th mandate from some of the state’s largest medical facilities. The rationale is that perhaps thousands of workers could be fired for failing to prove vaccination reco […]

Larry White, Executive Director Of The Oklahoma Metropolitan Library Commission Responds To Taxpayer Criticism Of Pride Month
Dr. Larry White, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Library System, responded to my recent criticism of the MLS’ celebration of Pride Month sent via contact form at the MLS website, with a very long and what appeared to be ‘canned’ response.
I say ‘canned’ response because a friend who also sent an email via the contact form, received virtually the same email as I, though with a twist. Attached to her email was the following photograph:
I copied and pasted the email in its entirety below. Under each paragraph I have responded in red. I felt this important because I thought it might help people understand why using tax-supported programs to advance agendas like BLM, or LGBTQ is wrong.

Is Public Funding of Education Now Unconstitutional Based On Federal Discrimination Law? Bill Barr Thinks Possibly.
For years I’ve written about how public schools are very often indoctrinating children in ideals outside those prescribed in their homes. I’ve warned parents for years to pay attention to what their children are learning in school and to attend school board meetings, yet until restrictions due to COVID-19 caused many students to stay home and learn on line, few were able. When homework or books don’t come home for view and the best you can get out of your kid about school is the following:
Mom, “How was school today?”
Kid, “Fine.”
Mom, “What did you learn today?”
Kid, “Nothing much…”
How in the world do you find out exactly what is going on in your child’s school?
