Conducting a County Convention is the building block of involving Republican voters in your county and in the direction of the Oklahoma Republican Party.
Here is a link to a folder with template documents to host a convention, start to finish.
To conduct a convention:
- Issue a Call for Convention (instructions from the OKGOP available here)
- Hold Precinct Meetings (packet with documentation from the OKGOP available here)
- Hold a County Convention
- Prepare Convention Program and Rules
- Invite a Presiding Officer for the Convention (or the County Chairman can preside) – sample Presiding Officer Script
- Prepare a Spreadsheet for Allocated Voting for the Elections and Roll Call Votes (voting numbers from 2024 here)
