Fellow Republicans,

When I was elected Vice Chair of the OKGOP in May, I committed to make (R) Republican mean something.  We, as Oklahoma Republicans, have a long history of foundational values standing on bedrock principles of The Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution. We express these values through our OKGOP Platform, which is constructed by us, “We the People”, through a vigorous vetting process.  Our party should be committed to maintaining these values and keeping you informed of our elected officials’ positions and votes in adhering to these platform principles.  This is why I am writing today.

In our platform we, as Republicans, believe in two genders, the sanctity of marriage, minimal essential taxes, and our Second Amendment Rights. Ladies and gentlemen, what I am sharing today is quite disturbing. The material I am sharing is targeting our children, and many would say, indoctrinating them into alternative lifestyles and dangerous gender changing surgeries. These materials were distributed by a 501(C)(3) that our Republican Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, Leslie Osborn chairs.  If these are the values of Republicans, I’m in the wrong party.

House Speaker Charles McCall took great lengths to express the conservatism of the Oklahoma Legislature. I have included a list of some of your favorite legislators who endorsed our Labor Commissioner, Leslie Osborn.

Please note, two of these Republican legislators, Representative Mark McBride, (Cleveland County) and Rhonda Baker (Canadian County). These two legislators continually harass our Superintendent of Education, Ryan Walters, but they support Osborn. Please listen to Leslie Osborn’s video, review the coloring book and posts from the organization’s Facebook page.

Leslie Osburn supports abortion, transgender policies

We have a problem in the Republican Party.  I will ask you, “Are these your values, are they Oklahoma Republican values?”  What our Labor Commissioner advocates and promotes is straight out of the LGBTQIA+ leftist and radical Democratic party. If you remember, I made a video of political candidates campaigning one way and governing another. I have attached a list of Republicans who endorsed Leslie Osborn for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner. Why have Republican legislators endorsed Leslie Osborn? Why aren’t our conservative legislators speaking out against this booklet?  Is it too controversial of an issue?  I will let you be the judge.

This pro-transgender and homosexual coloring book is sponsored by Federal Department of Health and Human Services grant. This is your federal government at work, your tax dollars. You will also see our Labor Commissioner was listed as chairman of HonestlyOKC.org, publishers of the coloring book.  Now her name has been removed, not listing a chairman.  Why? Again, has she felt the heat of public awareness?

I ask that you contact your legislators expressing your displeasure and challenge them to speak up, take a stand for traditional Republican values. Call on each legislator to request the Speaker of the House, Representative Charles McCall, to remove Mark McBride from his leadership position.

Thank you to Adair County for their recent resolution regarding this situation:

The Oklahoma Republican Party has a rich history of pro-family and traditional values. If you would like to review the OKGOP Platform, you can find it at www.OKGOP.com.  It is time to speak up and take a stand.  As you may often hear me say, “We stand on the shoulders of great men, our Founding Fathers and Colonial Ancestors who risked their lives, fortunes and sacred honors and fought for our God-given rights”.  We owe them a great debt. Whose shoulders will our children stand upon and what inheritance are we leaving them?

Save the Republic,

Wayne Hill

Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Republican Party
