Larry Murray, Chairman of the Washington County GOP, has announced his run for National Committeeman.

Larry Murray is a father, husband, Christian, and retired Air Force officer. He served 21 years in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, with multiple combat deployments, and lives with his wife and two daughters in Bartlesville, OK.

“I firmly believe that the OKGOP is by design a party run by ‘The People.’ I’ve seen the excited engagement in our county where every single precinct has functioning officers participating in the direction of our county,” Larry said. As Chairman of the Washington County GOP since March 2023, Larry activated the County Committee through regular meetings, openly communicating with the members, and standing firm for the shared conservative Republican values of Oklahomans. “For the past year, I have served at the pleasure of the county committee of Washington County, working to ensure the precincts have opportunity to perpetuate the Republic by outreach and holding accountable those elected to office as Republicans. I will bring that same emphasis to the State GOP and look forward to working with counties across the state to return the Republican Party to the fundamental principles of limited government and limited spending and defending our Constitutional Republic against all enemies.”

Over the last year, the grassroots of Oklahoma have worked together to accomplish monumental victories, including censuring James Lankford for his atrocious border deal, standing with the people of Israel, defending the J6 prisoners, and more. County Chairman Larry Murray has stood with the members of the State Committee at every step of the way, attending every meeting of the OKGOP State Committee.

Wayne Hill, OKGOP Vice Chairman, is honored to support Larry Murray for National Committeeman. “I am excited to have Larry Murray running as National Committeeman. His efforts to bring power back to ‘We the People’ have had a statewide impact. I fully endorse Larry Murray for National Committeeman.”

“In this crucial election year, we face not only attacks from the left, but there is an apathy in the RNC to focus on election integrity and winning elections,” remarked Chairman Murray. “I look forward to representing the grassroots energy in Oklahoma on the Republican National Committee so that we will win in November.”

Vote for Larry Murray on at the OKGOP State Convention in Oklahoma City, May 3-4, 2024.
