The No Green Scam Rally brought together passionate citizens opposed to the UNREGULATED expansion of Industrial Wind Turbine Complexes.

Speakers at the State Capitol raised serious alarms about safety risks, wildlife, violations of property rights and destruction of Eastern Oklahoma’s farm and ranch land by wind turbines TWICE the size of those in western Oklahoma. The barber who cuts your hair has more regulatory oversight than the multi-billion-dollar corporations erecting these massive spinning blades of death.
Several lawmakers were invited to speak, as well as numerous concerned Oklahomans, by a coalition of more than two dozen allied organizations. They want an immediate halt to this unchecked industrial wind turbine onslaught. They want sensible setbacks from homes and non-participating properties, a moratorium on new projects in sensitive ecological areas, and real protections for our land, private property rights, family farms, ranches, and the serenity of rural areas that define our state.
Oklahoma’s eastern regions—more densely populated and wooded than the western plains—are particularly vulnerable. This is about protecting Oklahoma families and our rural heritage from an aggressive industrial invasion.
ACTION ITEM: Call and Email your State Rep and State Senator telling them to pass SB2 to empower counties to establish sensible wind turbine setbacks from homes!
