In this video, I explain the authority structure of the Oklahoma Republican Party. Much like our nation’s founding documents, which are based on the truth that rights are inherent from our Creator and that any just authority is derived from the consent of the governed, the Republican Party, a party that promotes these values, gives the authority to govern the party to “We the People.”

OKGOP Rules Referenced in the video:

All qualified voters of this state who are registered Republicans are members of the Oklahoma Republican Party, and shall have the right to participate in the official affairs and governance of the Republican Party in accordance with these rules as set forth herein. Such right shall be sacred and inviolate, and the willful disregard or abridgement (sic) of such right by an officer or member of any committee of the Party shall be deemed sufficient cause for the removal of such officer or committee member.”

RULE 6(b)2
“The County Chairman shall be responsible for the enforcement of these rules and the carrying out of the directions and resolutions of the County Committee and the CountyConventions in accordance with these rules.”

Rule 10(b)

It is charged with the duty of promoting the welfare and direction, controlling the affairs of the Oklahoma Republican Party and the Oklahoma State Republican Conventions, and in promoting the welfare of the Republican Party of the United States of America.”

Rule 10(g)
“The State Chairman shall be responsible for the enforcement of these rules and the carrying out of the directions and resolutions of the State Committee and the State Conventions in accordance with these rules.”

Removal Process
The voters can remove Precinct Officers. The County Committee, which is made up of Precinct Officers, can remove County Officers, including State Committee Members. The State Committee can remove the State Chairman, Vice Chairman or National Committee Members. The Republican National Committee, made up of the State Chairmans and National Committee Members, can remove the RNC Chairman.

Conclusion
The Republican voter has a sacred and inviolate right to participate in the Republican Party, and the power of the people originates with the voters, and is shown in our rules, from the top – the voters, all the way down to the RNC Chairman.
