Recently two Oklahoma State Board of Education Members accused State Superintendent, Ryan Walters, of outrageous behavior completely unfounded just to generate negative publicity. This type of behavior is irresponsible and unbecoming of public officials. This type of behavior must stop!

Please go to google docs to sign the petition for yourself! If you want to read before you go there the petition is below in pdf format (downloadable).

When John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence, he signed twice as large as anyone else. It is stated he said, “now the king doesn’t need spectacles to see my signature, he can double the bounty on my head.”

Many have heard this in my presentation on our colonial ancestors. I tell a brief history of the events that transpired between July 1st – 4th of 1776. The 500 ships sailing into New York with 50,000 British soldiers, Hessians and support. I discuss courage, pledging of their lives, fortunes and sacred honor. The signers knew these troops had arrived to squash the rebellion in the colonies. Did this deter them. NO! . Like our colonial ancestors we have our own war against tyranny, evil and lies. Our time is now to fight, to expose corruption, lies and protect our God-given rights. Our Creator, Jesus Christ has placed you here and now for this purpose. He has provided us with the knowledge and discernment to understand our world. If this be true, it comes with a responsibility, to, “fight, fight, fight”! But we must engage with not only prayer but physical actions.

Here is one small activity you can engage in, signing this petition. Ryan Walters has been a bold courageous voice for our children and our values. It is time to stand with him, shoulder to shoulder. Pray for him and his family, sign the petition, post support and defend him. He defended our values. It is time to step up, be courageous. We stand on the shoulders our great men and women, let us emulate their courage.
