OKGOP Vice Chairman Wayne Hill’s mission is to build Republican participation in public policy from the grassroots up. He travels extensively, takes, and returns calls excessively and thanks his wife for her patience and support. It is an unpaid statewide elected party position with significant reach and impact.

Oklahoma was controlled by Democrats for over 100 years, but what does it mean to be a Republican? Anyone can register for any party at any time so how do we know what others believe especially when they campaign for office on the glittering generalities of loyalty to God, family, and Apple Pie? How do Republicans hold their elected officials accountable to core beliefs?

Hill writes, “It is our responsibility as citizens of the United States and as registered Republicans in Oklahoma to hold elected Republicans to an appropriate standard. The idea of examining all legislation and comparing it to the Republican Platform has been in the minds of Republicans for some time. It is an ambitious undertaking to analyze the thousands of bills filed each year.”
