First, a few congratulations are in order. Congratulations to Charity Linch, Larry Murray, Electors and RNC delegates. Let’s put our true president, Donald J. Trump back into the White House and set our state course returning it to our founding principles. I also would like to recognize State Senator David Bullard, our convention chairman on a well-executed and fair convention. Thank you, Senator Bullard.
In reflecting on the OKGOP State Convention this last weekend, there are many high points that need to be recognized. The main takeaway is the convention assembly wants our party to be one of bold action and not cheerleaders for anyone with an “R” behind their name.
I believe the message was loud and clear, the Supreme Authority, (State Convention) of our party spoke its will. They want new direction, bold leadership willing to take a stand to return this state and nation to its Founding Principles, the U.S. Constitution and our OKGOP Platform. We believe the primary function of government is to protect our God-given liberties. The Assembly wants their voices heard, they want accountability from our party and elected officials. Finally, they want transparency.
I want to recognize so many people that made our OKGOP State Convention a success. If I start naming names, I know I will miss someone. This was purely a team effort with an army of soldiers. It was like watching a symphony orchestra playing Bach, executed to perfection. I am honored to be associated with so many patriots. Everything was designed for long-term goals.
We are advancing these goals with each state meeting and the preparatory work in advance. We want to hear from you, the Republican Delegates and leadership. What are your goals for this party. We are in this together, each wanting this precious gift of liberty restored and advanced for our posterity. The foundation has been laid to start our next phase of accomplishments.
We have many goals, return the voice and authority of our OKGOP delegates, (we the people), informing our members which elected officials support our values, the OKGOP Platform. We will make “R” have meaning in Oklahoma. We will have strong principled Republicans representing us.
