
If I had one word of advice for people this year, it would be to pay attention to what scriptures tell us about finances. Some of the items in this list will surprise you. What does morality have to do with money you might ask?
As a financial advisor for many years, I observed people with basically the same financial profile, one doing well and the other doing poorly and began to be aware that many things impact how our ‘assets’ perform: how we live, how we give, who we spend time with to name just a few.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8
