From News Junkie to Politically Active: A video introduction from OKGOP Vice Chairman Wayne Hill
My name is Wayne Hill, the Vice Chairman of the OKGOP. Here at OKGrassroots, we are committed to bringing you updates on issues, projects, legislation, candidates, elections, and events that affect the grassroots.
The grassroots is literally “We the People.” Our country was intended to be directed, not by an elite few, but by all of us participating and keeping those who represent us accountable to our values.
That’s why I’m part of the OKGOP. The state platform and rules, written and passed by the Republican voters of this state, give us a framework to hold our government, and those who run as Republicans in our elections, accountable. You have a sacred and inviolate right to participate in our party. You have a right under the Constitution to make your voice heard in our government.
I am excited for what lies ahead. Our nation is in a dark place. But I believe with all my heart that we can leave a legacy of liberty for our children and grandchildren if we stand up as “We the People” and make our voices heard!
