I have worked with and observed both Charity Linch and Pam Pollard for the past three years. Charity is everything she claims to be and has accomplished everything she claims to have accomplished. She is a proven leader.
Charity has built an effective Craig County GOP from the precinct level up. Her County Committee is inclusive, motivated, and engaged in the life of the Community at the School Board, City Council and County Government levels. They learn what is going on and take steps to affect the right outcomes.
Charity has taken her formula and made it work in numerous other counties. She often travels our State and Nation educating and organizing Republicans.
Serving as RNC Committee Woman is more than representing us in Washington. Our Rules place our RNC representatives on the State Central Committee, Executive Committee, Budget and Finance Committee. These are powerful positions that should provide sound advice to our Officers and assist rank and file Republicans in growing within our Party. We rightly expect much.
Unfortunately, in the last four years we have seen the abuse of proxy voting until such was banned, long periods with no Budget Committee Meetings, difficulty in gaining access to the RNC Data Center, withholding of RNC funds to our Party when the “wrong” State Chairman was elected, and a general absence of concern for the issues most dear to our grassroots membership.
Our Party has changed. Some of our long-time leaders have failed to adjust.
I believe it is time for new leadership. Let’s elect a woman who has proven she supports our values and wants to grow grassroots membership from the precinct up; a leader who supports our bottom-up structure.
Charity Linch has youth and experience, and the drive to be a servant of “We the People”. She will be the perfect voice for Oklahoma on the RNC and at the epicenter of power in the OKGOP where her voice can unite us.
