As we enter 2024, where are we today? $33 trillion national debt, invasion at the border, stolen elections, the administrative state is attacking President Trump and attorneys are trying to keep Trump off the ballot.
In Bartlesville, OK, we have drag shows approved by the city council. In Oklahoma City, we have a drag queen as a school superintendent.
How do we change this? We have to elect individuals who are willing to stand up and say “we’re not going to allow this.” From the district attorney, to state legislators, to our government, local government can produce much of the tyranny.
I want to challenge you – go and read the Declaration of Independence and the tyranny they endured and compare it to what we’ve experienced over the last few years. Go and read the US Constitution – the Supreme law of the land, and compare all the laws to that law. We must understand and know them.
Finally, we must get on our knees. Ben Franklin said, “…The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?”
We need to ask our Creator to forgive us of our national sins. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” We need to get back to that. We need to understand the founding principles that made this country great so that we can return back to greatness.
