Below are letters from Oklahomans speaking out regarding the recent subpoena of Ryan Walters.

Dear Representative McCall,

I’m writing today to express my disappointment in your efforts to discredit the rightfully elected Superintendent of Education and the OSDE Board. Ryan Walters is doing exactly what he said he would do and what he was elected to do by the People of Oklahoma. Now you’ve joined forces with the likes of Rep. Mark McBride and the radical left to smear his reputation and character. Perhaps a review of the GOP Platform would benefit you as it doesn’t appear that you are giving the People of Oklahoma a fair shake….voted under the premise of the GOP Platform but now joining forces with the radical left?

I do know that the basis of your support of the subpoena is about financial responsibility and records, and it’s my hope that Mr. Walters will provide the records that will suffice the needs of the Committe on Common Education is requesting, IF they are truly a factual need of the committee.

Otherwise, I’m asking that Rep. McBride be removed from House Leadership and that YOU apologize to Mr. Walters for your participation in these reprehensible actions that you’ve been included in.

Mr. Walters has the support of the People of Oklahoma; it would be wise for you to review your actions and get behind him as he sets Oklahoma apart from the “wokeism” world we are in.

In Liberty,
Mike Bichard
Craig County

Charles McCall

Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representative

RE: Ryan Walters

I am adamantly opposed to the treatment Ryan Walters receives from House Republicans, Particularly Mark McBride and Rhonda Baker. Ryan is doing all he can to restore public education in Oklahoma.

I am attaching the Academic Performance of all the public schools in Oklahoma for the school year 2022-2023. The spreadsheet lists the proficiency in English and Math and the number of students proficient in both subjects. Is this the future you want for the kids of Oklahoma and our state? Check out the academic performance of the districts that you represent. Out of 6186 kids, only 1774 are proficient in English, and 1659 are proficient in math. Such miserable results are what Mark McBride wants to continue. The question is, do you?

Mark McBride and Rhonda Baker are sellouts to the OEA/NEA and the leftist LGBTQ, Transgender, and socialists in our state.

Get behind our State Superintendent; he is determined to change our education system for the benefit of our kids and state.
