My wife and I decided to attend the inauguration of President Trump in Washington D.C. Everything was moved indoors so our tickets got us a seat at the Capital One Arena where we watched the events on the big screen and were visited by a line of speakers including President Trump himself.
It was a great experience to be there during this very historic moment! Although we spent over four hours in line outside and my feet and legs swelled considerably I am very glad we did. It was a very positive and enjoyable experience.
I actually had a great time in that line. We met some great people. There were folks of all ages! How about that? There were people from all cultures and all races. America was really represented in that crowd of Trump supporters. There were also people from other countries who admired Donald Trump and loved the concept of freedom. There was even a family, all wearing Trump caps, that came all the way from China for this! (I do not think it was the PRC.)

What i would like to convey is the quality of that crowd of people, those Trump supporters from all over the country. The people in that crowd behaved with honor. They were all decent, considerate people, full of hope for the future of our country.
We got to listen to a few vile, filthy-mouthed traitors yelling at us with megaphones, calling President Trump an insurrectionist. Our behavior was a huge contrast to their’s. Did we return their ignorant invective with an equal dose of obscenities? No. We shouted in unison, “USA, USA, USA!” Great people!

Had this been a crowd of leftists one might have expected a lot of pushing and shoving, complaining about no handouts along the way. Even a group of conservatives could have grown very impatient. Not this crowd! We endured hours of cold, sore knees, hunger, being herded like cattle through the chutes with cameras pointed at us and NO bathrooms. The people took it like troopers. They did not complain. All they wanted to do is go support Trump! They were glad to do it! It was quite an experience!
Towards the very end, where most of the cameras were located, there was a big push where everyone, hoping to get in and desperate for bathrooms, used every available space to get through as quickly as possible, although in an orderly manner. But, during most of the ordeal, as we wound around the barriers, people were very mindful of each other’s place in line and did not try to advance their positions. There was an aura of joy and hope in the air and, although there was not as much conversation as one might expect there was definitely a sense of comradery. We all had a sense of victory and hope for the American dream.
One thing is sure, that crowd of people showed the world who Trump supporters are. It showed we are not the kind of people portrayed by the media during and after the J6 travesty. We are ordinary Americans who love our country and are fed up with the status quo! The faithfulness and integrity of that crowd of patriots also showed the world who Donald Trump is, a real American who loves his country and is willing to go the extra mile to save it.

My wife and I acquired the best seats in the house, clear up at the top with a huge screen right in front of us. We had to leave right before the President came to the venue so we could catch the last train out of D.C. That was disappointing but we had a great time. It was quite an experience to watch the event with 20,000 patriots as we cheered the president and those ready to help him make America great again, and also cheered the long awaited exit of those bent on harm to our country.
